Format: Each club plays the others twice, once at their home stadium and once at that of their opponents, for a total of 22 games. For the first time since 2004, playoffs will be played after the regular season. It will be contested between four clubs with the most points from the regular season.
Relegation / Promotion: The bottom two clubs will be relegate to Seconde Ligue (previously Division 2 Féminine) and the winners of the two groups in Seconde Ligue are promoted to Arkema Première Ligue in their place.
