ABOUT CONCACAF W CHAMPIONS CUP

The 2024–25 Concacaf W Champions Cup is the inaugural edition of a new women's club football competition organized by Concacaf. It runs from August 2024 to May 2025 and will crown the best club in North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. This tournament also serves as the qualification route for the FIFA Women's Club World Cup in 2026.

Format and Schedule:
- Preliminary Round: August 2024.

Teams like Alianza FC (El Salvador) and Vancouver Whitecaps FC (Canada) will play in this phase, with the winners advancing to the Group Stage.


- Group Stage: September to October 2024.

The group stage will feature the top teams from different nations battling for a spot in the knockout rounds.


- Knockout Stage: From February 2025 to May 2025, culminating in semifinals, a third-place match, and the final.

Participating Teams:
- Canada: Vancouver Whitecaps FC (qualified via League1 Women’s Inter-Provincial Championship).
- USA: NWSL Champion (to be determined from the 2024 NWSL season).
- Mexico: C.F. Monterrey and Tigres UANL, both from Liga MX Femenil.
- Costa Rica: Alajuelense (2023 Super Copa Unión Femenina de Fútbol champions).
- El Salvador: Alianza FC (2023/24 Liga Primera Femenina winners).
- Honduras: Olimpia.
- Panama: Tauro FC.
- Jamaica: F.C. Reno.
- Dominican Republic: Club Atlético Pantoja.
- Haiti: AS Tigresses.

These teams represent a wide range of nations across the Concacaf region, with a diverse group of clubs from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
