ABOUT AFC WOMEN'S CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
The 2024–25 AFC Women’s Champions League will mark a pivotal moment for women’s football across Asia, as it represents the first full-scale edition of the tournament. This competition is modeled after the men's AFC Champions League and aims to crown the best women’s football club in Asia.
Before the full edition launch, there were smaller pilot competitions, including the AFC Women's Club Championship, held between 2019 and 2022. These served as precursors and allowed the AFC to fine-tune the format, club participation, and logistics for a larger-scale tournament
